Supporting programme

Unusual, emotional and funny: many of the exhibitors in hall A4 “Innovation + Design” showcased impressive and exciting products. In addition to the well-known industry leaders such as Koziol, Philippi, Gift Company and Räder Wohnzubehör, the Design Island was also where young designers  presented their gift articles, stationary, fashion, jewellery and home accessories. Their focal point for this trade fair was on “products that tell a story”. This includes bags made from genuine theatre costumes and the accessories of a Danish designer with incorporated drawings made by her children.

Former exhibitors of the Design Island and design-oriented established companies presented their products in the special exhibition areas Design Land in hall B1 on the ground floor. Here, you came across flio design, for instance, a young company that has made a name for itself with bags made from synthetic turf, and designimdorf, whose products are exclusively made from local wood and manufactured in Germany. The early bird thus has two design areas: the Design Island in hall Halle A4 is an area for young companies and designers, and the Design Land for more established design companies.

The Trend Show in hall B1 on the ground floor was all about the latest trends. The categories are “NostalgieLook”, “Multimix”, “EigenArt” and “FarbenFroh”.
